Nice models!
regards the environmental impact, in the UK, steam trains are popular with dozens of private, heritage railways and hundreds of coal powered locos operating (in normal times) all over the country. Is there anything similar in Belgium?

I have used my Purma plus with good(ish) results, The confusing thing is why are there are two windows on the back? The answer is of course: Wind the film until the first number shows in the left window, take your picture and wind until the same number shows in the second window. No! if you do that the frames overlap. Use one or the other but not both. I have blanked out my left window now and now there's no more overlapping. Hmm, I developed the film and there are one-frame gaps between each image. so I dug out the original film backing paper. It was cut down 120. Numbering was differently spaced. DOH!

Hi Mike, welcome to the group. Its not as busy as it used to be but there are a few of us who visit regularly. Check out the old posts. Sadly many of the images are gone now due to free hosts suddenly charging and holding images for ransom.
You can put your own images on here using the tool box along the top.
Id love to see what you have. Phil

It sounds like the camera is in bad shape. I understand from a sentimental point of view it has value but the main value of these cameras is the lenses, particularly if it has a PLANAR lens. The cost of repair, if you can find someone to do it is likely to be very high.

I always wanted one of those, I used to shoot with Yashicas when I did weddings.I used Yashicas (D, 635, 124, 124G) for years before I settled on Mamiyas (C220, C330). They were really light weight, and easy to carry. ha ha I listed a 124G, I wish.

I have a Nikon V1 camera, mostly used for the microscope. But I bought a chip and put it on an LM to N1 adapter. All other lenses use a CFD-LM, NK-LM, M42-LM adaptor etc. The chip makes the camera work as if it has an FT1 adaptor - without the autofocus on G lenses. Press the middle button and you get focus magnification and the camera works on auto in Aperture priority mode.

Teddy looks pleased with himself!
What equipment did you use, I'm guessing TLR or perhaps medium format SLR

welcome to the forum. It can be a little quiet here these days. Please look through the old posts and comment on them. And most importantly show us your collection. We are all about collecting old and vintage cameras.

Nice grab! If you haven't seen this web site, it has a pretty detailed history on the Yashica TLR's. www.yashicatlr.com/Paul Sokk's site also has information on early Yashica 35mm rangefinder and SLR cameras. And Nicca and Leotax. There's not much quality info on those makes. And the best source is hidden away on a TLR site

A lovely camera. When I was looking for a TLR (smaller than my Mamiya) The Yashicas I looked at were far too expensive. However I picked up a Seagull cheap. Looks new and works a dream.
Id love an old German TLR (Not a Rollei) as a user but it's hard to find a good condition one in working order cheap.

Hi, I have had similar problems, the spacing is exactly the same but the Kodak numbers are extremely faint and impossible to see through the red window. I only use Kodak in a camera with no red window,
I suggest you try to rewind the film back onto the spool.
