Mine is a much later version and doesnt have a blue coating. I think coating was a service offered by Leitz at one time

These are all over facebook. As far as I'm concerned it makes a crappy lens crappier

I have been researching the development of cameras over the last century. I can confidently say that this is one of the best and highest quality models of the camera. If necessary, I can compile for you a list of primary sources writemyessay4me.org/annotated-bibliography , that confirm this fact. Can you please specify wich camera we are talking about? and what proves it to be such a high quality camera? The link in your post isn't very helpfull in confirming any facts. Just spamming, clickbaiting. Joining a forum or group, posting a marginally on topic item and giving a link to a nonrelated website get rid of this 'member' someone

Sounds like an excellent idea.

Full fat is thicker and looks better. yashica1943 has shown me other pictures.
I like the way the background colours show through your water droplets

I'm pretty much a newb, but an enthusiastic one. I've fallen in love with old film cameras, even the cheap/silly ones. I have 200+ bodies so far. I have committed to shooting each one at least once and repairing those that can't shoot. I look forward to all your guidance and hopefully I can provide some myself after a time.
EDIT: Per your request...
Here's a couple. A Wirgin Gewirette (v.2) pre-war, pre-Adox, 127 rollfilm VF and a Chinese Tianjin Eastar S-3 RF (any further info on this would be appreciated):
The Tianjin is an interesting camera, fairly well specified, it resembles a Yashica J. Its not mentioned in my McKeowans. Probably not many made. I'd hang on to it if may be worth something. You can google it but apart from the description, theres not much else said about it.

Imgur seems good. I'm using it here. The board also has a picture function, though it gives you a thumbnail which can be clicked on Click on the 'Add image to post' button. This is an example:

Hi Terry, welcome to the group. It's a little slow compared to how it was years ago. Please look through at the older posts and show us what you've got. Phil

Perhaps the card has the protection switch in the down position. Will the card work in another camera? If the switch is in the up position and it works in another camera, then perhaps the camera is faulty. Transfer images via a card reader or the card reader slot on your pc.

I agree, best left alone. I use imgur for pics on here and other fora.

Sorry to hear you're selling your film cameras. I've been selling some of mine too. I'm sticking to the more valuable/collectable type.
What's your ebay name?

Its an 8M lens. I wondered, because the 8 is a screw mount version

if you can find a mount to attach the lens to it you may find that a 500mm mirror lens will focus perfectly with it. Many focus well past infnity and my Sigma focuses perfectly on my Visoflex
