I bought a Sony A6000 recently and that has an EVF, almost as good as an optical finder. I gave it the ultimate test a few weeks ago, shooting at an air show with a long lens. scarcely missing a shot. On my old NEX this was a big problem. I think with the camera to your face you can track and pinpoint fast moving objects with ease instead of waving it about in the air looking for your subject.
And of course its smaller than a DSLR, and with the tiny kit lens it doubles up as a compact.
I'm afraid my 'new' K10D has been consigned to the camera bag and I'm only keeping the Nikon D3200 because of the flexible video capabilities.

I think we've all had the odd problem on ebay at sometime, in over 500 transactions I have had perhaps 5 or 6, not bad really. It pays to look at feedback, including that LEFT by the seller. I ignore negatives left by people with only a few feedback points themselves, they are yet to learn the etiquette.
My only beef with ebay is the percentage they charge, once it was 5% not including postage, now its a straight 10% across the board.. At least its easy to calculate!

Delilah was a cunning bugger, she betrayed Samson and if it was his his hair that was cut off by the group of Phillistines (not her, and probably with a knife). It may have been the fact that they gouged his eyes out and bound him in manacles that sapped him of his strength.
I think nuff said

Wayne, you havent changed a jot in those years. I thought the one of your dad was you. great pics. OK here I am aged 17, in 1974 from a very creased and flaky paper print. Taken on self timer with my Agfa Flexilette (the first camera in 'our cameras' thread) That is a Rigonda turntable, on the right, a Russian 'hi-fi' cost about £25, weighed in at 4kg and you needed a stack of pennies to balance the tone arm. Great days. here I am in the mid 80's, advertising my favourite brand of audio cassette. Oh, the glasses - I made them myself a copy of Ray Ban Aviators, but with Reactolite Rapide lenses. I enjoyed 'CHiPs' the American TV show and wanted to be just like Erik Estrada, this is as close as I could get. Pretty good I think. Taken in the mid 80's

Phil, Wow! Am I lucky. I have just passed my prime of life. Now I talk of a great vintage and well aged. Van Extraordinaire. As far as I know the Old Testament had no qualms about mentioning unmentionable ocurrances. I am almost certain that an overzealous circumcision would have been somewhat noteworthy and newsworthy. Mickey "Overzealous circumcision". You totally crack me up Mickey!!

Good Buy !!!
Well, its got a Sonnar lens and sells for £200+ on ebay. What more do you need to know? "who made it?" ah, glad you asked. Kyocera in Japan, the Parent company of Yashica, who of course made the CONTAX range of SLR's on the 70's and 80's.
Its about as top of the range as it gets for a 90's auto compact. Well worth getting a battery!
The pale gold colour is the regular version, if its a dark gold its the 60th anniversary version. 60 years of what though I can't remember.

Its Mickey being Mickey. Yes she had scissors, the bible says she cut off his hair, but scholars suspect it may have been something a little lower down. Of course the church couldn't mention his unmentionables, so like a lot of things, they changed the story to be more palatable to the sensitive souls who read it.. I think she only wanted to weaken him, not emasculate the poor guy. Surely she knew a good thing when she ....................never mind. Mickey I think if yours got lopped off when you were in the prime of your life, you'd be weak as a kitten, and quite sensitive about it.

The Argus C3 was made for 27 years from 1939 to 1966 The Olympus trip was made for 17 years from 1967 to 1984
Imagine that happening now. I know of whole housing estates (projects) that were built and demolished in less time that that.
