Three sisters from Russia: 3 times Jupiter 11 but with 3 different mounts. The ZM39 girl is not so tall but a little bit fat. See the mounts, It looks like the L39 one could fit on Zenit, but the thread is different and also is the base. The one with Leica Mount would be a nice macro lens on the Revueflex aka Zenit 3M but since the thread is different it does not fit on my Zenit without force. And here they are with their husbands. Zorki 4K, Revueflex aka Zenit 3M and Kiev 4a And as the last one a family picture together with the 50mm lenses and some addons. Hannes

Hello: Took me some time till I made a picture of my Mir. Here she is, side by side with my Zorki 4. From the back you cannot tell which one is the Mir. From handling and feeling the Mir is 100% like the Zorki 4. But unfortunately my Mir was not treated well and suffers from a damaged/sticky shutter. And finally a familiy foto of my other Zorkis and a Fed 1. Hannes

Hanes, Why does the chrome version not have Mamiya ZE markings on it? Good question, I do not know the answer. Members of this board mentioned that "no name" versions of cameras are not that unusual. The Mamiya marking is normally engraved and printed. On mine is no sign of engravement. Mamiyas have been sold under 2 different labels but not in Europe. Till today I could not find a photo of a 2nd no name Mamiya ZE. Hannes

Hello: I have the original Helios lens on my Kiev 19. It can be mounted on Nikon cameras, but you should never mount it on a "modern" Nikon with the AI coupling pin on the body. This pin would lock in a a screw hole on the lens and then you cannot get the lens off without force and risk of damaging the pin on the body. Updated: Added pictures to see the problem below Kiev 19 by hromadkah, on Flickr Tokina zoom and Helios lens from back, see the screw marked in red on the Helios, that is where the AI pin from a new Nikon locks in. And here the mount of my Nikon F301, see the AI pin marked in red. Hannes

The Nikon F501 to F801 are very cheap right now. Got a F801s recently as add on to the early Nikkor 80 to 300 AF zoom lens.

My Kiev 19 with SKF-1 Stereo Adapter mounted. The Kiev came from Germany with the original Helios Lens. See my Flickr AlbumDid not test the SKF-1 on a film SLR, but with digital the images lack some contrast. I assume the windows and mirrors need some cleaning. Hannes

My FED StereoI bought it in the early 1990ies and shot some slide films with it. In 1995 I used it as the only camera during holiday. Viewing the slides with polarizing glasses is a great experience. I still have a few boxes with 24x28 mm slide mounts. Just need to find a replacement battery and check if the camera is still working. 2 Shots of an Citroen Ami 8 Cabrio on a 2CV Meeting in Austria 1995. Converted to red/cyan BW format from the original scans of the slides. Need to check if a Samsung 3D TV is capable to show .mpo stereo images. Is there anybody who has experiance how to best view Stereo still images on a TV? Hannes

I have one since a few weeks, did not yet run a film through. The meter responds very slow to changes of aperture. It seems a little bit inaccurate. The diodes on my FM respond quicker to changes. I think I will run the first film through the Kiev with the FM or an external meter as reference side by side.

I was in the same situation last summer. Looked for an upgrade from Nikon D70s. New D7100 was too expensive so finally I got a used D300 and I do not regret it.

Hello:
Thanks for your answers, but all I tried did not work. Turning the advance know clockwise is prevented by a mechanism in the camera, even if the rewind unlock is in operation. I tried with some force but fear to brak something if I put more force on it. The rewind knob on left side did not need much force to come off.
Since I will never use this camera, I put it back into my camera graveyard. I got this camera as part of a bundle, togehter with the Tenax, a nice working Fed 1f and a few more.
