This camera does not appear in any of my books, nor anywhere I looked online. A little obscure perhaps.
I doubt that it takes 8mm film, as it appears to be the size and shape of 35mm camera, which would be extremely large for the 4.8 x 3.5 mm frame size of 8mm movie film. Any sign that it has been modified to use 8mm?

Is there a round window in the back? Looks like a square frame camera. A measure of the film gate could give some clue. It looks like a proto-Robot :-). Is film advance manual? What kind of shutter?
Could be a prototype or a special purpose camera, even a part of a larger assembly.

Thanks for the reply’s. This camera is very small. I should have used something in the pictures as a reference. The main body of the camera is only about an inch tall and about 3” long. There is no way 35mm film would fit in it. When I took the camera to a local camera store to have it looked at, the owner, who has worked on cameras for over 50 years, measured the shutter opening in the back and told me that it looked like 8mm film was used in it. He seemed to think that it is from the 1920’s. The camera does not seem to be modified at all. There is no small window in the back either. I’m hoping someone has some info on it but it doesn’t seem like I’m going to get much. Thanks for your help anyway.
