I finally went out with the M4 with some lenses, among them the 7 artisans 50mm 1:1.1 the very shallow dept of field when used wide-open enables for good subject to background separation even at some longer distances. The price to pay is with this lens it is very difficult to find critical correct focus on rangefinder cameras.
Here's an example: it does render the out of focus areas in a (can i say?) lovely old fashionned way.
