When all the odds are in favour, it is possible to make great shots with a (digi)compact, as i got lucky with the coolpix AW300 in these shots. Sadly this doesn't happen that much and i had a LOT of frustration trying to get some decent shots with the AW300 in the Thai jungle. Even though it is water proof up to 30 meter, the screen fogged up on some occasions due to temperature changes and extreme high humidity.
