I guess you could say me going out trying expired film in (old) cameras out of my collection is a project as good as any, but projects can go wrong...I've loaded the canon (new) F1 with expired agfa APX400 film.
Things couldn't have gone more wrong.... The agfa film had a very weird sort of detoriation wich I've never seen before with expired film.To make things worse the F1 had developed a light leak wich didn't help much in getting something usefull out of the camera. Now when I go out shooting expired film I never do this shooting important work so nothing of value was lost and now I've had this new experience with film being so bad it was beyond rescue.
Well i did manage to rescue some shots from towards the end of the roll as these weren't ad damaged as say the first 24 shots . Here's a few examples of the worst and the best from this experiment.
