Hi Rachel, Isn't that IIc a pleasure to use? Just love the feel of those little 35mm folding cameras and their lens is second to none. I think my favourite shots are the Cormorant and Athelhampton house.

Nice pictures, Rachel. I think I like the "Cormorant" the best!

Rachel,
Your pictures are very beautiful. I have a Retina II that I have not yet used. Now I must.

Very nice pictures Rachel. I think I like the first one of the boat at Aldeburgh best. Nice composition, and lots of interest in the picture.
For second choice I'm torn between Cormorant and Athelhampton House. I think I'll plump for Athelhampton House. On Cormorant I would have liked to see someone doing something, tieing up or casting off perhaps, but then it's pretty well known here that I'm happier with people doing something in a picture. Personal thing really. I know there aren't any people in the Aldeburgh picture, but there's lots of other interest to avoid it being too static.
The Schneider lenses on the Retinas really are good, aren't they?

Rachel - you must have been whooping as you looked through the pictures as you got them back. All the boat shots are superb, with the third the best of them. Beautiful composition.
The last shot is of my second favourite cathedral (Lincoln is my first love!). But it shows up a serious problem - there's nowhere to get a clear shot other than outside the town!
Regards - John

Rachel, those are very nice images. I particularly like the ones of Snape Maltings. I lived only a few miles from there and have some very nice slides I took there some 20 years ago. If I can find them, I'll try to post a couple. It's a very interesting place and they even held concerts in the buildings.

An interesting variety of shots and all well from the composition, etc. aspect!!
The film used is quite colorful and I like it a lot. And, the quality of the old lens shows it can still reproduce accuritly.

Nice photos Rachel I especially enjoy the photos shot in the UK where there is a lot of interesting things to see, such as you show in your work. I've had the good fortune of having visted the UK on several occasions and can truthfully say that of all of the countries I've been to, England was the most memorable.

Rachel
Thanks for the link. The photos are well done and the Fuji film has always been a favourite of mine. From your shots it looks like I should add a Retina to my list of cameras to find.

Rachel, I wasn't going to check out those photos, but I'm glad that I did. These are outstanding.
