Just picked up a medium-format Moskva-5 folder and a 35mm Kristal -- both made by the same Krasnogorsk factory that turned out all those FED's and Zorki's and Zenit's, Oh My! I'm waiting for them to arrive, and hope they are as good as they look! ;D

Me too, Randy! Me too! That Moskva-5 looks super and was described as recently overhauled and working well (and the seller had an excellent feedback rating). We'll see. I've been looking for a good one for a while now (but please don't tell my Mamiya-6). The Kristal was just a good-looking example of a camera I have been quasi-looking for (I've had a thing for things Krasnogorsk-ish lately). I think its top plate may have been repainted, because McKeown's indicates those ridges on it were polished...but no matter...it's meant to be a conversation piece (although I probably will run a 12-shot roll of 35mm through it, at least)!

Ron,
If the Moskva-5 works as nicely as it appears to be, you'll have an excellent picture taker! I have a Moskva-2 and a Moskva-4. The 4 has a mask to take 6x6 in addition to 6x9 and it gives a sharp image. It's in the same kind of condition as the 5 you've ordered.
I'd like to hear more about it when you have it in-hand.

I've already got a couple of 120 rolls, just waiting! I'll post some images as soon as it arrives and I can get out for a shoot!

I have a Moskva-2 like Walker has, and I love it. The results from my first roll through it were outstanding.
