The Nikon F4 I picked up on Ebay for less than $300 arrived today. In 2002 a Nikon F was fetching a similar price. The SN indicates it is one of the later F4s (1995). A couple of scuffs on the MB-21 motor drive base, otherwise not a mark. You could drive nails with this camera. I like the F4 because it also will meter with the older non ai lenses plus it does have an autofocus mode. They say the AF mode is slow by current standards but it seems plenty fast to me--I don't shoot many track meets).
