Have a look at this beauty on UK eBay (just search on the number)...
7606618518
The current price is £412 ($600-ish) and it hasn't met it's reserve yet. The seller knows what he has got !!!

Nice Exakta indeed, John.
This one seems to be in good working order, but they didn't have the best of reputations for reliability, and finding someone who is willing to take on repair is approaching Impossible Street.

Yes Peter,
Their shutters tend to go crinkly, but what a looker!.
My Varex IIA has a pin hole in one of the the shutter leaves (didn't Ron H say he wanted a pinhole camera? !!). Was going to ask you if you had any thoughts on that? I thought of building up a tiny layer of rubber glue, but I'm scared of it catching and ripping the shutter altogether.
Regards - John

John, You wrote On the Classic Camera Repair Forum this subject has cropped up several times. Have a look at www.kyphoto.com/classics/forum/messages/674/3021.html?Not sure if you can read the site without being a member, but I think you can. If not, let me know and I'll copy the gist of the ideas. If you aren't a member it's a forum well worth joining. Loads of knowledgeable people on it, a few pros as well as amateur tinkerers. And NO SPAM. A recommended forum. Peter
