eBay Item No 7620085593 just went for a considerable sum. What takes an item from being a 'nice to have' to a 'get out of my way' ?

As you say, that went for a tidy (even WOW) sum. Yes, it's a nice outfit with nice lenses, and you don't often see a complete outfit, but IMHO the price was OTT.
Can't think why Russ bought it. I know Russ through emails, and he's a dedicated Russian Camera man, particularly Kievs, and very good at repairing them too. Nice guy, and very helpful. He lives in Canada, or did up to six months or so ago, so it's going to cost him another £40 to £45 airmail insured post and packing. If I had 200 smackers to spend on cameras I reckon I could get something more interesting (at least to me) than that.
Edit: Sorry, I see Russ was outbid by a couple of quid, but he still bid a tidy sum. PW
