Quite an unusual camera I found recently on eBay. One of the few of its era with a 35mm lens, perhaps not what we would call "wide" now but certainly was back then. It came with its original case and the instruction booklet and that nice vented Walz lens hood. Needed a clean up and minor attention but it's now all working and definitely one I shall try out with some film.

Very stylish. There were some nice cameras around in those days.

That's a very handsome camera. Love the vented hood, too. It appears to be very well built.

Roger: That is one pretty rangefinder. I'd love to see what kind of pictures it takes. I've seen other Walz on evilBay, but never bid on one, not knowing much about them. It certainly is a handsome specimen!

Hi, I've had one of these (a Walz Wide) for several years. In my opinion, all of the Walz cameras were well designed and well made. They have a very solid feel and a nice sound when winding the advance. Here's one of the best photos I have gotten so far with mine. This is cropped from about half of the original image. handheld, ASA 400.
