Speaking of the cameracollectaholics mention...does anyone know of a good and successful detox center for such? I saw on the news where there is a detox center somewhere in England for addicted video game players...so maybe there is hope for we camera 'freaks'. Ron Head Kalamazoo, MI

Why should we need a detox centre Ron?
We can give it up any time we like!!

Myself, I've cut way DOWN on the SIZE of my camera purchases. Why, the last two cameras that I bought were a Yashica Atoron Electro and a Minox EC. No more BIG camera purchases for me... Un-huh..... until that next Nikon can't be resisted!! ;D Walker

Talking of Canon stuff... I wasn't going to get another Canon until I can afford Gene's A620(LOL). But there have been good reports of these on the board in the past so I 'bit' Canonet 28 with Canolite D flash. Needs the light seals replacing, but still not bad for £2.20 ~ $5 !! Regards - John

Well done, John.
Nice little camera. You did better than me. I gave £4 for mine about a year ago, and I didn't even get the flash! I know the spec says use a mercury battery, but mine works fine on an ordinary alkaline and the metering seems OK, well within the latitude of colour print film.
