I recently won a Braun SR 2000 manual SLR on the 'Bay. I have not heared or read much about this camera, except there were two models made concurrently. One uses the Pentax 'K' mount and the other the Minolta 'MD' mount. I am not sure what one I am recieving, but it doesn't really matter. Mine will come with 2 lenses, a 28-70 and a 70-210. Lenses should be easy to obtainand quite reasonably priced. I will be after some fast primes for this one. I will be probably offering this one as a loaner to the members of my camera club to use if they want to try film out or just to have a go at manual photography (most use digital P&S's with only a few with DSLR's and one Nikon 35mm user).

Heath,
From your description of the lenses, I would guess your camera uses the Minolta mount. In MD Minolta has a 28-70 and a 70-210. Both are nice lenses but, at least mine, are rather plasticy on the outside; optical quality is fine.
