I bid $20 on a Spiratone 85mm f1.8 thinking what the heck. I won it for 15. Just tried it out at a photo shoot. Of course I shot with the Canon 85 f1.8 when it counted but took a few shots with the Spiratone. Turns out it is a wonderful soft focus lens. Saves a lot of work versus the ultra sharp Canon or my Vivitar 90mm f2.8 Canon T90 Fuji Pro160S

no haze or seperation at all and no cleaning marks. It is bright and clear when shining a light through it. I also had a Steinheil culminar 135 that looked lie it had been cleaned on the outside with sandpaer. All brass. Joe I don't think it was supposed to be. Baffles me what happened
