Anyone come across the EEmatic S ?? Just picked one up for £1 ($1.50) . I work away from home, so when I am away I live in lodgings. My wife came to stay for a couple of weeks (in fact, that was the reason for getting a 'double' room). She hasn't been back for some time, but in the meantime, the place has filled up with cameras. Somebody STOP me! Regards - John

Konica sure made some nice small rangefinders!!
And there IS HELP for all of us...if someone would just start a treatment group for we cameraholics.
No...actually...let me remain a cameraholic...my addiction could be a lot worse and a lot more expensive.

John, you said: I'm not even going to try to stop you. I'm strong. A week or two back I went out without my wallet, just loose change, and had to choose between a Minolta HiMatic G and a cup of coffee. But, I said I was strong. I successfully fought the withdrawal symptoms all morning ... till I got back home and made my own coffee! PeterW

Nice Avatar Ron Head - who is on there with you?
Well done Peter, you held out for the only possible outcome!
Nice collection Curt. I also have the Autoreflex T3 (not the N), an FC1 and an FP1. Lovely, smooth cameras with superb glass.
I was intending to concentrate solely on SLRs, but I don't have a Konica RF, and what struck me about this one was the cyclops lens. Thought it would sit very nicely with my three Minister IIIs

Hi John, Cyclops lens eh? Hmm, you've seen some of my Petri 7's and 7S and everyone has either seen or owns an Olympus Trip 35. How 'bout this pair of Beauty's? Beauty Lite III Beauty LightOmatic III Also have a couple Mamiya and Mansfield/Mamiya cyclops but I think I've already posted those before.

These small Konicas are quite attractive. I just bought a Konica C35 from a friend, but haven't finished the roll in it yet. For those who have one, how would you rate the C35? A decent user?

John,
I have a Konica Auto S with 47 mm f1.9 hexanon lens. Other than the lenses, your Konica Auto S2 (Hexar - mm f1.8) and Wards AM 550 Konica (Hex-- 40 mm f1.8) and my Auto S seem to be identical except for the names. I wonder why they do that. I have yet to use mine.

I think we should start an international "Camera Collector's Anonomous" group, AKA "CCA," with daily meetings and support buddies. We must learn to "just say NO"...to camera purchases!
Of course, drinks will be served at the meetings and we will meet in the local pub ("saloon" in my primitive local west of the colonies), which also has a wireless internet service to auction sites, of course.
Any thoughts?

The Wards AM 550 was my first 35mm camera! My sister had an Auto S2. Even though I know it was a Konica, Montgomery Ward himself was from my hometown Niles, Michigan, USA.
