This is not an indorsement of the auction in any way... I came across this cool light meter on ebay this morning & thought others might be interested. I think the brand Kopil sounds familiar to me, but I most certainly havent seen one of these before. The things we used to do (& some of us still do) before everything became integrated into our modern cameras!!! I just had to chuckle a little thinking of a photog. attaching the meter to the lens, setting the asa & shutter speed on the meter, stopping the lens down to take a reading, unattaching the meter, mounting the lens on the camera, setting the shutter speed, focusing, setting the aperture (the order of the last two are interchangeable, but I was assuming a dim finder) & then FINALLY taking the shot... It's amazing how far we have come! cgi.ebay.com/KOPIL-Cds-TTL-METER-for-EXAKTA-and-PENTAX-lenses-RARE_W0QQitemZ280047887532QQihZ018QQcategoryZ88670QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemHas anyone here actually used one??? I am thinking it would be fun to try just so I can say I have!!! Cheers! Peter
