A lucky $40 find at a camera show this morning: My favorite color scheme of my favorite box camera model. I'm a happy camper. To top things off, it's the 120 version, so I can actually still use it.

Nice Brownie! I love the beau's, but I can't justify the extra $$$ when I wouldn't use it. I do have a few old Kodak box cameras that I hope to turn into clocks one day.

Looks like a good match to the brick as far as art deco goes. Very interesting looking.

Peter: Thankfully I got this one cheaper than the normal market value of about $80-$120 for this color combination. I had been wanting one for quite a while, but couldn't justify that amount of money for a shelf-sitter. What I paid was about my ceiling. I'm quite happy about finding the 120 version, as that's just icing on the cake.
Bob: I hadn't really thought about the C3 as art deco. Maybe a little constructivist? Seriously though, if you want hardcore deco, check out the Bantam Special. (Designed by the same man who designed the front plate on the beau brownie.)

Very nice Beau Brownie. I like all the art deco Kodaks but so far I've never seen a Beau Brownie I could afford. Good purchase there. Hope to see a few pictures from it one of these days.
