The Konica FT-1 was the last of the 'true' Konica SLRs. By all accounts it was the poorest of the F'X'-1 range - even more plasticky than the others, which were renowned for 'breakable bottoms'. Their internals were superb however.
I've been looking out for one for ages, and one finally came up on our e-Bay. What happened? A first time buyer decided to go for glory. I bid way past my limit, and finally left him to it, as there was no concievable way that the camera was worth that silly sort of money (relatively speaking).
Another will be along tomorrow PeterW? Hope you're right 'cause I've a hole in that Konica collection!
Regards - John
