The Bell & Howell Foton Camera 1948-1950
« Message sent on Yesterday at 8:34pm »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hope you don't mind me contacting you as I've been trying to figure out your webpage and am still having problems. I really wanted to send the below message to everyone on this webpage but it's just not working for me.
I acquired the above camera a few months ago from my cousin who passed away. I’m not really a camera buff but in checking all the stories about this camera, it’s very rare & unique. The camera I have looks just like the one on some web pages. It’s still in it's original leather case.
I’m sure this camera is not to be used for “everyday type people” it seems to be too complicated when I look at it. I did find the serial number under the “half moon” on top.
It is possible to put me in touch with someone who might want to purchase this camera. I even have the letter from B&H sent to distributor requesting serial numbers, and the cute little book like camera shape with directions.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Click62

Bob: I had this site bookmarked from some of my earlier "Kodak" explorations. It tells a great deal about this camera! P.S. it's not mine, either!
