Looking for 19mm screw-in filters from Leitz that filts the older 50/3.5 Elmar LTM lens.

Good luck on that quest. Don't see many of them around. I had a yellow screw in filter for my old Leotax years ago and kept it on the lens most of the time. The FSU Leica II copies use a slip-on filter that probably would fit the Elmar. Only problem is you have to take them off to set the aperture.

You know what it's like when you buy an old camera kit on eBay - you tend to get all the 'junk' from the bottom of the bag - often totally unrelated to the item you bought (unless you bought from a shark, who buys packages and splits them to sell individually).
The first camera I bought on there was a Praktica Super TL (don't have it to hand - it's at my work address). But pretty sure there were some small filters that I looked at, shrugged my shoulders, and put into a drawer. Could be anything, but they were about half the size of the M42 mounts. Will have a look. If you don't hear, remind me!!

Leitz actually did make these filters - I know since I saw one last weekend at an exhibit. It was the first I've ever seen. It's exactly the same filter size as the old Argus filters.
