Ok...I have finally taken the big leap. Well...I should clarify that and say wifey made me do it...she bought me a digital camera and told me to be quiet now...LOL...!! Yeah, I know...to you other digital camera guys, this is nothing, but...hey...it is a start. This is a little keychain digital camera made by Phillips and...yes...it does actually take pics. MP's? Who knows. Resolution? Leaves a lot to be desired. LCD? Doesn't have one. There is this little thing-a-ma-jigger that pops up like a flash would, but is a viewfinder. You must hold it some distance from your eye to see anything as it is just a lousy optical piece of plastic. Basically...you kind of just aim the camera and push the shutter button. Cannot review any pics until uploaded to the PC. I will have fun with it as a 'spy' camera. It was most considerate of wifey to buy it for me...and she only had to spend $15 at Walmart. ;D Ron Head Kalamazoo, MI

Hi Ron,
Some years ago John changed his mobile phone contract. One of the inducements to change, but not the thing that persuaded him, was a FREE digital camera "worth £80". Oh yeah?
When it arrived John took one look at it and put it down again. It was about the same size as yours, but un-named.
The resolution was ... wait for it ... 250 KILOPIXELS!! Yes, 0.25 megapixels. ;D.
It took pictures too, of a sort. Don't know what happened to it.

Hi Ron, Cool little digital there. I've always found you don't need great resolution for blackmail photos, just the general idea does the trick. Seriously I used to follow a group on either MSN or Yahoo (one of the many I've let slide along with Delphi, BestStuff, RFF, Nelsonfoto, Ace Forums etc.) and it was only for cheaper digicams but some of the folk there were actually pretty good with these micro marvels. Each to his own, hey, I still follow toy camera forums once in a while too.

Ron: LOL! Not really a big leap...more like touching your toe to the water! But a start is a start. You can tag this as Item One in the digital portion of your collection (just don't use too large a tag)! ;D

Almost got one of those a Walgreens the other day. I'm sure it's the same model--$10. But the package made no mention of megapixels of resolution. I assumed it's probably 640 x 480.
