Just some things that caught my during a recent frosty spell. This is a car windscreen - the car was parked facing west, and the morning sun was shining through the rear window of the car. Hi again John,
I like the way the backlighting has caught the frost pattern on the car windscreen and brought out a blue tint, and you've framed it beautifully with a sort of cascading wave from right to left.
The second picture leaves me a little unmoved, but I like the melting frost on the birch. I like the pinpoints of light where the sun has caught the drops, and I like the composition - though I can't analyse why - I just like it.

More of Mother Nature's unique art. The windscreen(aka...windshield...LOL) is my favorite.
The different ice patterns formed really show up.

John: I really like that third shot, with the frost melting on the birch.....it's the kind of shot I could look at and study for quite a while without ever getting tired of it!

I like the first but I think the third would make an outstanding B&W
