Hi Bob,
What are we looking at here (can't my head round it - sorry...) Is it a picture of a picture ? A window ? I know I'm going to kick myself when you tell me !

Hi John
it is flowers on a window sill with the sun shining brightly behind it.......I thought it was interesting that the red of the flowers bled thru beyond the flowers themselves.....don't know what caused that....but I liked the effect.

Some of the greatest photos are the ones people look at and say "I just don't know how they did that" which this one fits this criteria. It almost looks like it was originally a B&W and you got crazy with the red photo oils. An eye-catching composition for sure. Steve

Bob,
I just can't imagine how you accomplished that photo but it sure is appealing. Could you crop out that bright wedge in the upper right corner?

Mickey
I could try...but do you mean in the upper left corner?
Oh now I see what you mean...you mean the sliver of wall in the upper right--yes I think I can. I will try and post the results.
thanks for looking and commenting

Still finding this too spooky. The light came through the window without shining through the flowers (which are thrown into silhouette). But the light, reflecting off the flowers gave a halo effect around the flowers themselves. No wonder you made the original post without comment. I would have said glue was involved except we can see what you saw!
Well spotted, and well captured.
Regards - John

Konica T2....Hexanon 52mmF1.8......Fuji 100 Bob Hi Bob, I really like this effect. I think it may be a saturation artifact in the scanning. What are you using to scan this in with? Jules

Jules
it can't be the epson scanner as the photograph itself........looks exactly the same way....so we cannot say it is due to the scanner.
I don't know how or why it happened...but too, like the effect!
be well...have fun Bob
