Gerbil Run

This glass-covered walkway crosses above Jefferson Avenue, from the Marriott Courtyard Hotel (and the parking deck where I park for work) across eight lanes of traffic (and a wide median). Workers in the area jokingly call it "the gerbil run," for obvious reasons!

I carry a big bag like that to work and people kid me about having a big lunch bag.

I'm amazed at the stuff people carry back-and-forth every day! I used to carry a large shoulder briefcase...until it dawned on me that I seldom ever looked at the stuff in it when I was home...and only used it to cart things around that I could easily carry in a small binder, if I would only empty it each day!

My shoulder and back have since thanked me numerous times! ;D
