Hi, As John and Wendy were on a short holiday the past week we went out for the day to Bentley House in Sussex where as well as the Georgian house there's a children's playground, a miniature railway, a small motor museum and a wild fowl park. I took my Canon T70 and shot off a roll of Afga XRG 200. Thought you might like to see some of the shots. Hope there aren't too many. Unlike many Georgian country houses Bentley House is long and low with attic bedrooms for the servants. How would you fancy this view from your front porch? One of two stone greyhounds that guard the entrance to the house The Drawing Room (from Withdrawing Room) where the ladies withdrew after dinner while the gentlemen smoked their cigars and drank their port. Hand held 1/15 sec. One of two private sitting rooms. Hand held 1/15 sec Young Luke loved the miniature railway, but for safety reasons they wouldn't let him sit on the engine The cars in the motor museum were packed close together, and the light wasn't very good. I went down on one knee and braced my left elbow on the other knee for this 1/8 sec shot of a 1930s Minerva. One of several shots I took in the wild fowl park. Hope you enjoyed them Peter

Reminds me a little of Monticello, Jefferson's home.

Nice framing in 2) Peter. The owner was obviously a betting man (3). I'm impressed by the steadiness of your long(ish) exposures. I would need a tripod or monopod for those I think. Come to think of it, I've had a monopod on order for a month - must track that down
Regards - John
ps Like the play of light on the water in the last.
