Found this just this evening. That long-haired guy is me, and the little one in blue is my first son at a year old. It was taken by my wife, in front of our first house, in 1973. I was all of 25. The camera she used is long forgotten. I'm sure it wasn't my Mamiya DTL, she thought it was too much too fuss with! Oh! To be able to squat like that again! ;D

I missed this one first time round, Ron. Must have been sleeping it off a couple of days ago! . That's a lovely memory picture. It's what family albums - as opposed to our 'works of art'?? are all about. And I'll bet with a week of press-ups Grandpa Bear could still squat down like that for his granddaughter. Go on, give it try . Peter (still just under 200 pounds and with a 32 inch waist - You can't fatten thoroughbreds! ;D ;D)

LOL ;D I must not be a thoroughbred...I think I weighed all of 180 when that picture was taken...260 now. Waist has expanded somewhat, too. But I'm not too heavy...I was just supposed to be 7 feet tall!

That's a fun shot, Ron. I agree, getting close to the earth was a lot easier back then
