This is an image from my birthplace, Deniliquin, New South Wales, Australia, during the 1956 floods. It was taken outside the Edwards Hotel, now the Edward River Hotel, and is a famous image of the times. The horses took over where the cars were rendered useless during the floods. The Edwards River Hotel is still going after more than 100 years and if you get to visit this country make it a point of call, It's Real Australia! Dave
