Hi everyone,
This is a Photoshop, or Paintshop Pro query, rather than a repair or technique question. I have recently taken a couple of - well, almost portraits, in a pub. Didn't use flash, because in the first place I actually got a useable reading, and secondly, because it's very easy to upset a lot of people very quickly using a flash in a pub!
The photographs came out quite well really - but they were somewhat dark, and had a yellow cast to them. Thinking about it, they looked like what I was actually seeing in the somewhat subdued incandescent lighting, but obviously my eyes had been doing their own compensation.
Any thoughts on brightening and de-yellowing the pics? This would be a really useful technique to have. My guide to Photoshop doesn't cover the subject unfortunately. I don't want to post the pics as these are of friends, and if the word got out that people I photographed immediately appeared on the internet - well, you know.....
Regards - John
