I am currently working my way trough the enourmous amount of more and less useful and interesting pictures from last autumns (spring down under ) round-the world-tour. I have to admit that this is taken with a digital cam in Norway whe still have operating trams in Oslo. The one in Christchurch is a "tourist trap" but a very nice way of have a look around downtown Christchurch. Edit: Sorry I forgot. Taken with a Nikon D70 and a Nikkor 24-120

Had a 24-120 and got rid of it last year. Wish I hadn't. It was lighter and shorter than my 35-135 Nikkor. Nice shot.

I have just sold mine as well, and regret it. It was a very good allround lense for travelling. And it worked well with the D70, but I had to many overlapping lenses and prefer my 17-35 or 28-70 Sigmas for work.

Thanks Ron by the way... The Nikkor 24-120 is not considered to be one of the better Nikkors... just an average performer according to this guy: www.naturfotograf.com/ Bjørn Rørslett, who have a lot on Nikons and IR photography. Another lippy Norwegian Øivind ps Ron said" ...wish I had been collecting Nikon's........ ;D" Yeah RIGHT that`ll be the day... hehehe

Nothing wrong with Nikons or Nikkors I just couldn`t imagine Ron changing major field of interest because of one sharp picture BTW: I have one 43-86 as well, for the EM, I think I have shot only one roll of film with it. I have the other crap as well (sorry no scans) the 36-72 *sic* keeps the papers neat an piled on the desk. My favourite old Nikon zoom is the 75-150E, a little wonder, very underestimated. Works with the D70 without lightmeter compability, have to shoot by histogram or take the Ikophot out of the pocket. Sunny 16 doesn`t always work on Digital

Brian: Didn't mean to imply there was anything wrong with collecting Nikon's....it's just that folks who know me know of my passion for old Mamiya cameras. ...and be fair Øivind....my comment was " Almost makes me wish I had been collecting Nikon's........" My major field of interest will not change because of one sharp photo...but I have owned Nikon's in the past (and enjoyed them).
