Sorry 'bout having to move this but I posted in the wrong section. Told ya I aren't that clever.

Fun shots, Curt, and they stirred up the memories. Some of those old-timers were still on the road when I was young, and I remember too many of the others when they were first introduced!!

Lovely shots Curt. The one in the fourth picture caught my eye.

In my "yoot" I would have voted for the Duster or that Camaro SS. I wonder if it's a sign of age that the old Caddy now seems to have some appeal!

NIce old sleds there Curt. I especially like the shot of the Camaro. I helped my cousins old neighbour restore?convert a '68 Camaro a few years back. Polished Centerlines, 454 big block, powerful disk brakes and RHD conversion. She turned out to be a nice ride. Just wished I had documented it for him.

Thanks for the pics...some do bring back memories. I, too, like to hit the summer car shows. Often wish there was more space between the cars though so we could really do justice to shots of an individual one.
Here in SW Michigan we have the Gilmore Museum which year round has inside displays and also sponsors many shows during the summer. The Gilmore family fortunately has the money to do so. Also was in partnership with A.J. Foyt, the racer.

Just a teaser for tomorrow's shooting. Yep, I'm on 12 days of holidays again so here goes. Classic sports cars in town for an annual meet. !20 cars, slalom, gymkana and show. I'm shooting with today's latest arrival, my newest Zenit TTL, Taron Eyemax RF, Aires Viscount RF, and a Minolta SR-1 just to try out two new to me 28-80 lenses. A friend says I'm crazy to shoot important (to me at least) shoots with untried camera gear but for me that's half the fun and besides I shoot so many pictures I usually have at least one similar one in case of light leaks, slow shutters, stuck apertures etc. Now pray for decent weather otherwise it's indoor shots from my local plant conservatory.
