Out walking with my Zeiss Nettar 515/2, this one came upon me fast (at least 15mph) so I had to shoot from the hip. These folders ain`t really made for snapshots in the meaning of the word Kodak 160NC. f/16 and 1/100 sec. This model is probably from the late 60`s. Built by a Norwegian coachwork company called "ARNA" just outside Bergen (the city is worth a visit, a lot of old buildings from 12-15 century, from the time the Hansas, Germany was running the trade and shipping in the city,. Try a google on "Bryggen" or "Bergen") The engine is probably a 4cyl, 4stroke diesel by Scania (it says Scania Vabis on the front, the Vabis name is a Swedish acronym for VognAktieBolagetIS.... i can`t remember the town, meaning Wagons LTD in S...), of about 90-100 Hp DIN. It was a common design from this factory (they still build buses), who built upon Scania, Volvo and MAN chassis, and was in regular traffic when not driving schoolkids. This particular one is part of the collection of old buses owned by a club for people who are into local transportation history. And bears the colors of "Mørebil"- local owned busoperator. Every operator in Norway had (and partly have) their own colors. Want to know more, just ask and I shall answer as far as I know about the theme Here is finally the image.
