Gene,
4 things set this pic on as great...(1) b&w, (2) the partial boat on the right, (3) the dock in the middle and (4) the shadow of the boat that is the main subject!!!

Wayne, HC-110 is one of my fav developers. In fact, I only stock it and Rodinal. I use HC-110 at 1:100, an 'unofficial' dilution but it makes it easier to accurately dilute it. Agitation: continuous first 30 secs, then 2 gentle inversions every 3 mins (a kind of partial stand development). Development time: approx 3 times Dilution B. I usually round up to the nearest 3-min time. I didn't invent this 1:100 method -- I found it on a forum, tried it, and liked it.
