When you go to a Car Show or Cruise Meet, it so hard to get the subject by itself so you can snap a photo without a dozen onlookers in your shot. I waited for over an hour in the hot sun to get this Plymouth last year. It was worth it!

Nice Road Runner shot, Randy. I'm going with my brother-in-law to a Corvette meet at the GM Tech Center this Saturday...and we are both getting ready for the annual Woodward Dream Cruise...the granddaddy of all cruise events! I have that "new" '81 Vette this year, and he has a nice black '79! Woodward Dream Cruiseand Dream Cruise Photos

Have a great time Ron. A few friends of mine go every year to Woodward, never been there. Some day I'd like to make the Mopar Nationals in Columbus and cruise Brice Road.

Randy: Woodward is the most awesome collection of vintage vehicles I have ever seen! The only problem...next Saturday (Aug.19) it's more of a "park" than a "cruise"! The best time is actually this weekend, through next Friday night...because you can really cruise then! Still lots of neat wheels, and tons of watchers in lawnchairs on the sidelines, but not so many wannabees choking the road with their Honda Civic's and old Astrovans! You wouldn't think that a boulevard more than 10 miles long and four lanes wide in each direction could get so choked, but it does. The saving grace is that everywhere you look there's another neat old car, and there are classic rock and blues parties everywhere! ;D Lots of photo ops, too!

Randy,
Know what you mean. It is not only the people though that get in the way, but generally the cars are parked so close together that one can hardly get a decent photo.
And...even though small in the pic...I see the decal of the 'Road Runner'.

Ron,
Have you seen the promotional pics of the newly designed Camaro??? Or, perhaps since you work for GM...have you seen the concept car itself?
Looks mighty sharp in the pic I saw on the new today.

Ron Head Kalamazoo, MI Yep! ;D ;D One of the nice things about working for a marketing staff is you get to see a lot of the goodies coming down the pike. The reborn Camaro is one of them. There was a silver show car version that was shown at the Detroit Auto Show, and I believe there's a neat red one (my favorite) now on the show-it-off circuit! You can't always talk about them outside the office, which is sometimes a major drawback (and causes many bit lips). But they are going to make it, and it is one spectacular automobile. If you're into collecting cars...this is going to be one to get!
