This shot was taken with a Nikon FM on the evening of the last really nice day of summer/autumn 2004. Fujicolor400 film.

Wayne, the sky looks like it's on fire! Very nice!

Wayne: Don't you just love it when these beautiful nature scenes happen...and you've remembered to bring your camera! This is nice...kinda makes me wish I had taken it!

Wayne,
The colors in the sky are beautifull. And I like the way the silouettes still retain some detail and not appear as merely black blobs of something.
Fine job!

Very nice picture, Wayne. I like the patches of light blue sky which contrast with and bring out the reds, oranges ands dark blue of the sunset. I'm still waiting for Autumn to come down here in Kent! Nearly all the leaves are still green, and only a small proportion have fallen. I bet Autumn will coincide with Winter, so when there are red and orange leaves it will be dull and pouring with rain Peter Peter

I'm fortunate. I had to take three steps out my front door to get the shot.

Great shot Wayne. Three steps out my door and you might get a similar shot but it would have clouds from the stack of the pulp and paper mill a half mile away. I was hoping to get a few fall shots before the leaves came down this year but a day of rain and wind took care of most of the foliage.
