Me and my wife Freda went back to Harpersfield Covered Bridge today. Although it was overcast and gloomy, I took my FUJI STX2 out of my camera case and shot 24 pics. After uploading them to Photobucket I can't bring myself to make the pics any smaller as I've really captured the season here. That FUJI is one hell of a camera considering I only had Family Dollar 200 print film in it. These shots were taken with the standard 50mm lens at F-5.6 and F-8 at 15 and 30 shutter speed. Come along to Harpersfield with me....and be sure to fasten your coat, tis cool and damp here! Almost fell in that cold and murky water!

A little history. The Steel Truss Bridgework at the North End of the bridge is there because of an area that was damaged in a winter storm.

Randy,
Thanks for the warning at the start of your post...I went and put on my jacket before viewing the pics...
You truly did depict the 'coldness' of water this time of year. I love the froth and flowing of water over even a small dam!
El cheapo film. Hey, I have used it at times...mostly to run a check on a camera I have bought, just to make sure it is working. I do not want to shoot a full 24 or 36, so what I buy is Walmart's Polaroid brand in 200 ISO and 12 exposure. And...it is made by Agfa! Who will make it now since Agfa is closing doors...I do not know. And ya know what...I have occasionally gotten a great pic from it just as I have from a PS camera. No expense, fancy controls, etc.
Ya got wet, did ya? Well, once...I fell in goose feces and had a goose right in my face...yakking away. I would rather get wet.

Thanks for the kind words Ron. I changed to one picture and clickable links for the rest so the thread will load faster.
