Shot with my new Nikon F4s, Kiron 70-210mm f4 zoom, Fuji 400 on the shore of the reservoir near our home. Not bad for a $30 lens!

Wayne, Those are exactly the kind of shots I meant in another post...they kind my wife says "What are you taking a picture of that for?" She just doesn't grasp form and shape and texture and lighting as things that can fascinate! Other than that, she's a real sweet woman and I love her very much! Keep it up...I like 'em! ;D

Wayne,
Driftwood can show so much in the way of pattern, texture and attractiveness and these shots are excellent examples.

Thanks for the compliments. I have a love-hate affair with my Kiron zoom. It is as sharp as any Nikkor I've owned and has excellect contrast. But it is a REALLY heavy sucker. Attached to an F4s tou are looking at a package somewhere around five pounds. Given what I paid for it, however, it's the best bang for the buck in my arsenal.

Wayne,
That kiron zoom really does a great job for you. Might we assign some of the blame to the photographer? Beautiful.

Nice work to be sure. I treasure the few Kirons and Vivitars I have made by Kiron. Excellent lenses that somehow remain affordable, at least till we let the cat out of the bag.
