Gene, that's wonderful. I love the water, the way it seems to be rippling. Hey Bob, married life adds to the blood pressure, it's all that good eatin and pamperin. Watch ya don't get fat and sassy like me!

Very nice picture, Gene, and very well exposed against the light. Even at screen resolution I can almost feel the texture on the foreshore.
I like the way the light is slightly offset to the right and balanced by the rocks in the left foreground which lead your eye straight to the light on the water.
Conventional 'rules' of composition say that the horizon shouldn't be in the middle of the picture, but here it's just right. I'm a believer that rules were made for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise people. Trust your eye, not the rule book.
Well seen and well taken.

Gene,
Just...loverly!!!!! And the small area of rocks, instead of a larger view, really makes the eyes go immediately to take in the rest of the great composition.

Gene: Don't know why I am so late to notice this thread! That is a magnificent shot. Another one of those "wish-I'd-taken-it" pieces! ;D
