The photos below were taken a couple of weeks ago before spring sprang. They are at a nearby resevoir, Lake Lowell (aka Deer Flat Reservoir) which provides irrigation water for many thousands of acres in our area. The shots were actually a test of my recently acquired Tokina 80-200 f2.8 zoom. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day and I was shooting Fuji 100 which forced me to shoot nearly wide open. Still, I was please with the results. several Mud Hens (Coots) are visible in the center of the marsh photo. Nikon F4.
