Spring certainly is in full swing with our doogwood in bloom in the front yard. Of course the dogwood isn't the only thing flourishing with warmer temperatures. The pigeon shot also is posted on my light seal post. It also was taken with the Tokina 80-200mm f2.8. Dogwood shot with Nikon FM, 50mm f1.8 lens. Weed shot with Tokina 80-200mm f2.8 zoom - all on Fuji 400. This was the test of the new light seals I installed on the FM.

Wayne,
Don't understand your thread title - can't see anything bad here.
In fact, I find your 'Weed' goes past good into superb. What a picture! Definitely starring as my desktop this week.
Regards - John

Weeds will grow anywhere! That pigeon is doing it's best to look majestic, maybe he thinks he's an eagle. Nice pics Wayne.

Thanks for the compliments. I like the weed, too. Sometimes one gets the most satisfaction out of getting an interesting photo of a subject normally not considered photo material.

Man, these are pretty. I particularly like #3, the grass with the delicate tassels. Isn't the definition of a weed "any plant that's growing where you don't want it?" Gene

The weeds win. But thank you for the dogwood. I never knew what they looked like.
