My last one...for today Most of the tulips have long since opened...this one was just on the verge when I shot it the other day.... The bright blue in the background is some sort of flowering ground cover. Again, my wife would know...but I'm almost hopeless when it comes to flowers (although tulips I know)! LOL! ;D

Thanks, Rick. I have a hard time deciding whether Spring or Fall is my favorite season. I really enjoy the new blooms (even if I don't know what many of them are) and the return of leaves...but then fall colors come, and they can be spectacular around here, too!

Wow, that's one beautiful macro! What a colour combo. I'm with you, Ron -- it's hard to choose between spring or fall as the most photogenic time of year.

Spring or fall? I think spring is great for close ups and macros of growing plants. Autumn is best for colourful landscapes and broad, brilliant vistas. But either can be interchanged. Mickey

Thanks, Gene. I think Mickey has a point, landscapes seem to be the order of the day for me in fall (although they are my favorite thing to do, regardless of the season), and macros of blossoms in the spring (although I have been known to concentrate on a single leaf or branch in the fall, too...odd duck that I am)!
