Wonderfully minimalist, John. I feel I'm looking at a sea of horsetails. I can feel the wind too! ;D

Horsetails are a very primitive and ancient plant (you can see horsetail fossils in coal). They are the gardener's nightmare, as their roots are so deep they come up in Australia as daffodils!!
Quite unusual to see a whole bank of them like this - never seenit before.

John,
A most unusual and exciting picture. I really like the way the dark shadows intertwine with the horsetails. Staring at it I found myself unconsiously leaning to the right and my eyes totally incripting the unique image in my mind so that when I took them from the screen all I say for about 30 seconds was the image.

Here we have Virginia Creeper, it will take over your property if you don't get after it.

Just as a comparison, here are the same horsetails without the wind.... Not the same is it? Regards - John

John,
If you hadn't said what they were I would have thought the two pictures were aerial shots of a forest.

Yep...the windblown one is much more interesting and impacting! After reading Mickey's comment, I looked away and then back and also saw the possibility that if could have been the tops of forest trees taken in an aerial shot. The ol' eyes sure can do some different things at times.
