Scenes along the 550-mile route from our home to Cody, Wyoming. The LDS (Mormon) Temple on the Snake River in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Mormons are the predominate religion in the eastern portion of the state. Buffalo grazing in Yellowstone Park. The huge fires several years ago opened up a lot of grazing areas in the park and the Buffalo herds are growing to fill the open spaces. Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

I like the Fuji 400 pro. I liked the NPH better than the new stuff so I laid in quite a bit in the freezer. About 5 years worth :-)

Wayne, That photo of the buffalo is so very evocative of the western plains/prairies that used to be. The memories of these great beasts still mark many western sites such as; Wascana (Pile of bones) Park in Regina, Saskatchewan. Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump in Alberta. in al. Mickey

There actually is a buffalo herd about three miles from my house. But they are in a pasture, not roaming free. Buffalo thump a lot of people in Yellowstone. Folks jump out of their cars and run up close to get pictures--don't seem to understand Bison are wild animals. A buffalo bull is as quick as a cat--the small hind quarters allows him to spin around in his own length. I think they can run in bursts of 30-35 mph.

Great shots Wayne. I haven't been to Yellowstone since I was a kid but maybe I'll take mine there someday soon. Wow, the upper falls looks the same as when Ansel Adams did the mural project.
