Rick,
Neat the way you let the subject appear from the left corner and just lean to the right. And that sky background with the mixed blue and clouds adds to the viewer's concentration on the subject.
I notice that there is a vertical line obvious straight down the pic about 2" from the right. Something on the film plate or got there when scanning??

yeah, it is probably a hair on the Neg or the scanner
