They were pretty in colour, but with these patterns and silvery tones, I prefer them in monochrome with a touch of warm toning. Nikon FM2n, Nikkor AI 55/2.8 Micro, Fuji Reala 100, Photoshop Channel Mixer etc. Gene

Pretty neat Gene, With all these guys using PS to turn colour to b+w, I find myself trying it more and more often too. Guess I lack the discipline to learn proper B+W useage, but I'm having plenty of fun experimenting.

Curt, I think turning C41 colour to B&W is perfectly valid. I shoot B&W film too, but I can't say the results are hugely better. I just enjoy processing it myself.
Ron, thanks. Sometimes B&W works best where it's least expected.
