Much as I love my digi cams, it's nice to get back to some film shooting. Snowy Morning. Leica M2, Hexanon-M 50/2, Fuji 100 C41 Speaking of snowy morning, it's snowing as I type this. Think I'll grab my XA and head for Starbucks Canada Goose. Bessaflex TM, S-M-C Takumar 135/3.5, Fuji 100 C41 Gene

Nice shots Gene, are you sure that's not an Ohio Goose? I drove by Lakeshore Park yesterday and there must have been 500 of those geese there.

Nice shots, Gene. I'm a little partial to the boardwalk scene. Even the flying birds seem to be cooperating with your composition!

Randy, you've got 'em too? Here's a little known fact. They're not native to Canada. Some eejits about 100 years ago brought a bunch of them in from Minnesota cause they thought they'd look nice. For 'civic' reasons they dubbed them 'Canada Geese'. Now WE get the bad rap Wayne, Ron, thanks kindly. Gene

Yes, the goose shot is superb. (It wan't freezing to death or anything was it?). Is that open water off the jetty, or have the wavelets frozen?

Beautiful pictures. When I first looked at the goose picture I thought it was a wasps' nest. I had to take a second gander.
Too many people who are bothered by the deposits left by the geese call them Canadian Geese. I checked. Most of them have the now mandatory American passports. The real Canadian Canada Geese are smart enough to fly south for the winter. You've heard of Snowbirds.

I thought the goose was a wasp nest too at first! I really like the composition of it.
