Well said, Mickey. About the most sensible and down to earth thing I've read about Global Warming for a long time.
Love the bit about their facts not being factual and their science not scientific. I hear some of the extreme ones are even dragging in Nostradamus whose pronouncements were about as woolly-worded and accurate as horoscopes.
We also get our cold spells. The Thames even froze over back in eighteen eighty something despite the insulation blanket of coal fire smog over London, and there were stories about sailors' hands freezing to ropes in the English Channel, salt water notwithstanding, because of the wind chill factor. I wonder what today's doom-mongers would have to say if that happened again?

Global warming in my opinion isn't about science -- it's about politics. Like you Mickey I think man is pretty full of himself to believe he can have that much effect on Mother Earth. She's a tough old broard and she's been warming and cooling periodically on her own for millions of years.
One of the arguments is that all the human created carbon dioxide. But some scientists say in the 19th century, two volcanoes erupted that put more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere that man has in his entire existance. The result? Certainly wasn't global warming.

I am not concern about greenhouse gasses neither the forests, I don't eat either . The average global temperature is rising rapidly, whatever the reason, and if it continues it might deteriorate the the circumstantial factors of living in certain areas of the globe. If this comes true, it will cause trouble. Darvin was right about a evolution but if the changes in climate are as rapid as they seem to be it may cause a revolution. Almost everything in the world turns commercial, so is global warming, and scaring is a common way to get "customers". Aging scares and we spend money to stop it, war is frightening to someone, and we spend money to by weapons in order to feel secure. It is difficult to separate the truth out of the scam.
