Visiting Long Beach Island, New Jersey last week with X700 in hand. Two of these shots are grainy due to the fact that I had the film speed on 800 while I was using 100 speed film, D'oh!! I should've just left it alone and had the roll pushed-processed. Oh well. However, I think my X700 works better in "P" mode than "A" mode. I notice a big difference in the metering when I switch back and forth. (yes I take the aperature lock off when using "A" mode and open up the lens). I also notice a difference in metering between my X700 and my XG-1 when both are set up identically in "A" mode. The XG-1 meters a faster shutter than the X700 every time. Anyway, let me know what y'all think. Cheers! Our friend's grandkids on the bay at sunset. Surfer waiting for a wave. Surfing the Wild Blue Yonder.

Looks good to me! I never sat and clicked my XGs and my Xs side by side though.

Thanks Randy. I'm in the Florida Keys right now and I opted to take my XG-1 along for this trip. I'll post some pics when I get back to NYC.
